DESCRIPTION:POWELL TOWNSHIP PARKS AND RECREATION PLAN OPEN HOUSE \nPowell Township invites you to attend the Powell Township Parks and Recreation Plan 2020 – 2025 Open House on December 11\, 2019 at 6:00 PM at the Powell Township Hall\, 101 Bensinger St.\, Big Bay\, MI 49808.  Powell Township is updating their 5-year Parks and Recreation Plan and they are seeking feed back from the public on the draft plan’s vision\, goals\, objectives\, strategies and action plan that will guide Powell Township recreation planning over the next five years.  The Open House will begin with a presentation on key plan elements\, followed by a series of activities to gain public input.  \nOn December 12\, 2019\, the Draft Powell Township Parks and Recreation Plan will be available for an additional public review and comment period for up to 30 days.  A copy of the draft plan can be reviewed at the Powell Township Hall or will be available online on the Powell Township website (https://powelltownship.org/) and on the CUPPAD website at (https://www.cuppad.org/).  After the 30-day public review and comment period\, the Powell Township Board will conduct a public hearing for additional comments and consider final adoption.  For more information\, contact CUPPAD at (906) 786-9234 or email dlajoye@cuppad.org.
