Concert\, Fireworks After the Concert \n\n\nPowell Township’s Parks & Recreation Committee announces the 31st Annual Fire on the Bay\, July 12\, 2025. \nThe CONCERT is July 12 at 7:30 P.M. at the beach pavilion next to Burns Landing.\nThe band “Ramble Tamble” is headlining. \nFIREWORKS WILL FOLLOW\, JUST AFTER THE CONCERT. \nTo view the band announcement\, click  here.\n\n\nAdditional Details:\n\nFireworks are traditionally fired from the north side of Big Bay Harbor on Lake Superior at dusk and last approximately 30 minutes. \nSpectator areas will be on the public beach and the Harbor area. \nDue to crowds\, the beach turn-around will be blocked off to motorized vehicles at the Big Bay Marina. \nHandicapped Parking will be available at the Marina/Harbor.\nThere will be limited roadside parking\, so consider walking to the beach from the downtown area. \nNO ALCOHOL OR PETS ARE PERMITTED AT THE FIREWORKS  — there will be on-site enforcement.\n\n\nWe have had great support from the community in raising funds for the fireworks. All donations from last year are still being held for Fire on the Bay. Donations are accepted year-round. The Township is grateful for all event supporters. THANK YOU!
