DRAVER PARK RIBBON CUTTING / OPENING CEREMONY STARTS AT 1 PM

Dear Friends and Partners,

Powell Township is pleased to invite you to attend the Draver Park Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Draver Park in Big Bay, Michigan.

This event will celebrate the completion of major improvements to Draver Park, including new ADA-accessible pathways and amenities, a four-season concession and restroom facility, upgraded pavilion infrastructure, an ADA-accessible loop trail, and new recreation equipment designed to serve residents and visitors of all ages and abilities.

The project represents a collaborative investment in the future of Big Bay and would not have been possible without the support of many community partners, stakeholders, volunteers, and funding organizations. We are grateful for your continued support and would be honored to have you join us for this important milestone.

Following the ribbon cutting, guests are encouraged to stay and enjoy the park, explore the new amenities, and connect with fellow community members during a casual reception.
